Personal AI assistants are moving from novelty to habit quietly shaping what we notice, how we make decisions, and how we relate to each other. In this workshop, I’ll share findings from my research group and hands-on lessons from building Regular, a couple-centred intelligent assistant.

- how product-embedded AI can amplify or dampen bias and preference loops

- which model families and interaction designs are most adaptable for empathy-relevant tasks

- where is the ethical line between a system that “understands” users and one that nudges or manipulates them.
